Starting Femoston 1/10mg- confused!

Stupid question alert.
Ok, got my first prescription of this hrt and leaflet suggests, if having periods, to start on day one of my cycle.
But, tablets start on Monday onwards. So, if my period starts on a Wednesday, do I start on the Monday, first tablet?
[Nervous due to leaflet as well but that's another story...]

Think I have worked it out...

Despite fears [blood clots/ stroke/ dementia/ cancer] sparked by the leaflet with Femoston, am starting tablets today as my period started.
I do worry that at 55 I should have just seen this through without hormones. Apart from brain fog and [I think] anxiety not suffering too much. The brainfog is worse some times than others and does frighten me. I am generally a worrier but think I catastrophise more at the moment and am also more emotional than usual [especially towards a period].
I hope I am not starting something I will regret...
