Progesterone & mood

I started HRT 3mths ago - everel 50 patches and utrogestan tablets.
It was a slow start but I think it has generally improved things.
However, I've noticed that the period of 2wks after taking utrogestan, my mood dips again and my irritability shoots up.

Is this normal? Is it like a progesterone withdrawal? Will it always be like this or will things even out?
I feel like my hormones are still out of kilter... !!
Any advice gratefully received!

I can't give advice but can sympathise. I've noticed a similar pattern with being on Evorel Sequi after the progesterone patches. District drop in mood and insomnia etc far worse. That was after 3 months too. I've literally just collected the oestrogel and utrogestan capsules to try instead. Maybe you need to try a different regime?
