Evorel Sequi not working

I'm 42 and have been having peri meno symptoms for the last 5 years - menstrual migraines, extremely heavy periods, low mood, weight gain that was hard to shift.

Symptoms got worse in last couple of years to the point that I have to wfh on Days1&2 of my period due to flooding, I can't sleep so always tired, ongoing migraines for which I take a daily migraine preventative and Sumatriptan, tearful and angry for 2 weeks before period, no libido at all. I had a Thriva blood test which showed low estradiol and testosterone, everything else normal. My GP reluctantly (because of my age and regular periods) prescribed these patches 2 months ago and although they've resolved the issues with mood, nothing else has changed.

How long do the patches usually take to work? I have a GP appt on Friday and I'm wondering whether he's going to tell me to keep trying them or whether there's anything else he can prescribe? At the moment I feel like I can't stand this anymore. It's affecting my family life and my work and I feel desperate for something to make me feel better.
