I have VA and I’m on day 6 of the loading dose of Vagifem. Since early this morning, I’ve had 4 episodes of bloody urine and burning pain when urinating. Called the surgery and was asked to provide a sample (which I’ve just done).
I wasn’t sure whether or not I should have my VF dose today (I’ve been doing it around noon) but wasn’t able to speak to a nurse. The receptionist at the surgery said I should carry on as normal until I hear from them.
Is it ok to continue with VF before/while a UTI is being treated?
