I've just started on Ovestin

I have just bought Yes vaginal moisturiser after being recommended to it by a menopause Dr. Not sure how it compares though.

Ovestin works for me, although a little at a time.

'Yes' gave me the worst pain ever, threw straight in the bin.

@25yearsnhsworker Is there any reason why your meno dr didn't prescribe vaginal estrogen?

YES and similar products are moisturisers, similar but better than lube. However, estrogen creams actually change the cells in the vagina and plumps them up to pre-meno health.

Vaginal atrophy is now being called genito-urinary syndrome (GUS) and it includes vaginal and pelvic floor health ( prolapse) as well as bladder health. Using estrogen in the vagina also helps by increasing the estrogen in the bladder which can help urgency and infections.

It depends how bad your symptoms are and what you are treating.
