Please help advise the best medication/supplements that will help with hot flushes, especially for night time. I'm awaiting blood test etc to confirm menopause, but doctors appointment not till mid November. I feel I am slowly going mad through lack of sleep. All advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

How old are you ?
I thought you didn’t need blood tests to confirm if you had symptoms.
Google the NICE guidelines.

Invest in a good fan. I'm not trying to sound glib, but I honestly haven't found anything else that works.

HRT. I personally wouldnt' leave the GP till you've got a prescription. You might want a blood test to rule out other things but HRT should go on symptoms as your hormone levels will be fluctuating so much there's no point.

Top things that helped me while I was waiting to get HRT were a wool duvet for night, cutting down alcohol, agnus castus, menopace, and exercise and veg.

But it's your oestrogen dropping so replacing it, if you can, will really help with the symptoms. My night sweats stopped within a couple of days.

Menopause and the Tesco own brand worked for me for a while.

HRT works even better.

Can I just say this is the first time I've been on a forum. I taught I would get an email if anyone replied to my post. Just saw your replies thank you so much for taking the time xx
