Waking at 3.00am and not falling asleep again after taking Femoston 1/10

Hi ladies,

I've been taking Femoston 1/10 for three weeks now. I'm 46 and it's been life changing, in a good way. My moods have improved dramatically and I just feel like a new person.

However since starting the grey tablets (they have progesterone in them) about three days in I feel wired. Sort of like I'm on drugs. It's a very odd feeling. I'll fall asleep and every single night I'm waking at 3.00 am with this wired feeling and unable to fall asleep.

I definitely don't want to stoop taking HRT, it's clearly helping. But something is giving me insomnia.

I'be just turned 46 and have regular periods. Im not sure if I need less/more progesterone or just need to wait a few more months until everything calms down?

Help, I'm knackered - any ideas? x
