Given estradot 25. Is this a really low dose?

After a year of insomnia, irrational anxiety, hot flushes and zero sex drive, I’ve just been given a prescription for HRT. I’ve got estradot 25 and progesterone for days 14-28. I’ve read that 25 is the lowest dose and I’m worried it’s not going to be enough to make a difference. Or is it normal? I suppose I’m impatient and desperate for things to improve.

25 is the lowest dose, it's usual to initially prescribed 50 to start with as you can go up or down depending how you go. The only way to find out is to give it a go and see if you need more but it's usually around 3 months before it makes a noticeable difference.
