Can you overdose on progesterone

I'm supposed to take it on (for 12 days) then off for 16 but I've been taking it for 3 weeks straight, I forgot to stop taking it, what now?

Nothing will happen except you will have a withdrawal bleed 3-4 days after the last dose.

Oh I really don't want that, but there doesn't seem to be an alternative I've been told to give it a break
