Any Tips To Get More Sleep?

Hi. I have been on the Evorel Sequi patches for a few months now. I've had no bleeds which is good.

I'm still gets bouts of insomnia. I can't function without 8 hours sleep and I get headaches. I find myself getting emotional about all sorts of things and tearful.

I have cut down on the caffeine and try to exercise.

Any advice or tips to help me sleep? Thanks

I've largely eliminated all caffeine, have a high strength magnesium supplement about an hour before bed.
I also have some weetabix or other high fibre low sugar cereal before bed.
Find something nice to spray on your pillow and breathe in the smell slowly and deeply to help relax you.
I'm sleeping better doing this.

Look up some sleep hypnosis on YouTube. I like Tansy Forrest. It really helps me get to sleep if I wake up in the middle of the night. Its just like a guided meditation.

I've recently started taking magnesium of an evening, but it's too early to tell if it is helping yet.

I've also bought a weighted blanket, just the £25 one from Home Bargains. I feel that has helped. I definitely fidget less. If I haven't slept that well, I do feel more rested.

Epsom salt baths (magnesium) or a magnesium supplement.
