On Cerazette mini-pill for years with no bleeding, now having periods?

I’ve been on Cerazette for years since DS was born (he’s 11 now) no periods fantastic.

About 4 months ago I’ve started getting monthly bleeding again whilst still taking the tablets. It’s regular but longer than a normal 5 day period (can be over a week long and heavy). I’m in synch with DD1 that’s how I know they are regular.

Getting ahold of a GP is horrendous at present so I’m wondering what’s going on after all these years with no periods. Is it perimenopause (I’m 46 now)? Anyone else had this happen?

Snap! Well, 9 years and I,'m a couple of years younger than you. I'm getting a blood test next week to see if I'm starting (peri)menopause or not.

Also snap. 10 years no bleeding or spotting. 47 and last 2 months cramp and bleed. I am blaming astra zeneca covid vax.

@Blabla2 I had the Pfizer very early on.

I’ll need to somehow sort out a GP appointment and get my bloods done won’t I? Confused we have this insane triage system where you have to tell a receptionist what your call relates to the.n she decided if a GP will phone you back. If they do phone it will be between 12-5pm stay by your phone and pick up in 3 rings if you don’t that’s it chance gone. I’m working and don’t want to discuss my bleeding in a corridor (nevermind other issues)
