Not bleeding on sequential HRT

Is this OK? I thought the idea was that a bleed helped shed the womb lining to avoid cancer.
Also, I'm just at the end of a months trial of Evorel Sequi, I haven't managed to get another prescription yet as GP is uncontactable, so I'm likely to run out. If I just keep the last patch on, will it still have some benefits until I get a replacement? I don't want to be thrown back to square one. I'm a bit cross that I was only given a month, as everything I've read suggests a trial should be 3mths.

After only 1 month it's not unusual not to bleed- the womb lining may still be thin .

It's also not essential to bleed each 4 weeks - some types of HRT have a 3-monthly cycle/ bleed once every 12 weeks.

Your patch won't have any hormone left by the end of the date.

Thank for the reply.

I'd better go into the surgery to chase up a prescription then, as they aren't answering the phone and don't reply to emails.
