Utrogestan - headaches

swizzlestix · 10/10/2021 15:22

Hi I'm very new to HRT - started patches last week and my Utrogestan last night on an empty stomach as advised.
Within about half an hour I had a headache and it's been there as a dull presence ever since.
Just wondering if many of you also had headaches that did go on to settle so you could feel the benefits?
Thank you

Hello I read on here of headaches on Ultrogestan and that they will eventually stop.
I have a gp appt today to ask for HRT so not started anything yet but definitely read that HTH

Hope your appt went well Wildthings? Headaches have eased a bit I think but hard to distinguish side effects from covid at the mo!

Yes I’m on the same utrogestan and have had a dull headache for days but don’t know if that’s down to sleeping very heavy from it ? The groggy headache type feeling. I’m only on day 4 of taking it.

Hormonal headaches can be helped by taking a high dose of vitamin b complex.

Ooh top tip about the Vit B - would that be more than is available in normal multivitamin as think that's says 100% of RDA? Thank you

@swizzlestix Yes, a lot more. I use Lindens Super Vitamin B Complex - pic attached. I usually buy via eBay.
