So, my GP took me off HRT. I’m 59. I was having investigations into 3 x episodes of post menopausal bleed. Saw Gynae at the hospital clinic. Has USS… all good. Gynaecologist said I could restart HRT if I wanted but he’d leave it to her and me to discuss.

GP has prescribed Elleste Duet 1mg. They’re white (which you must take first) and then pale green. Am I right in thinking I will have a “withdrawal bleed” on this type of HRT?

Either I’m reading the info wrong or that’s what’ll happen 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I was on Kliofem for years, it suited me fine. Then, she took me off it and gave me oestrogen gel and progesterone tabs which didn’t work so well because I have a very physical job and need to take two showers daily. I also swim 3/4 times a week. I was never sure when to apply the bloody gel!

Now, I’m wringing in sweat. Never had this before. I’m also knackered because I wake wringing in sweat.

What a mess!

Any advice anyone? I really appreciate it.
