44 and period has not shown up!

Is this it?? Has it started to stop? I'm a week late. I noticed that I ovulated when I should have been coming on my period. I didn't have sex last month, so not pregnant. Should I do a pregnancy test anyway? Only has sex once the month before and have had a proper period since and dh had a vasectomy a decade ago and was given the all clear. I'm just mildly panicking about what's going on and what I'm supposed to do, if anything. I'm all bloated and miserable and snappy, like I'm due on. Any advice? Will I come on 14 days after ovulation?? Aarrggghhh. AZ Vax in July so that's on my mind too!! Usually very short cycles 24 days, but very regular.

Well do a pregnancy test just to completely rule that out, and then when that comes back negative hopefully you’ll be able to relax enough for your period to make itself known.

If you've only ovulated a week ago, your period won't come for another week or so. Your luteal phase (time between ovulation and bleeding) tends to be 14 days. It sounds like you had delayed ovulation, which could be due to age, stress, an infection etc.

Thanks. That's what I thought. I've bought a test so will do that in the morning. This is soooo ten years ago

Periods super late, periods re starting in 54 plus year olds...her stories were mind blowing.

My guess it it is likely to be that.

I was 3 weeks late after my second AZ jab... At 49 shouldn't be dealing with that stress!!
