Oestrogel - haven't been told what dose to use

Hi, I'm switching to oestrogel after being on the patches for a while. The pharmacist's label just says apply once a day. The patches I was on contain 3.2 mg of estradiol and the gel has 0.75 mg.
That seems like so much less! Any idea what I should use? I've only been given one pump but two months worth of progesterone, so maybe Gp expects me to use just one pump a day?

The amount the patch contains is released over several days so you can't compare like that.

What dose was the patch? (It would usually be 25mcgs, 37mcgms, 50 mcgs etc)

The starting dose for gel is 2 pumps per day.

Thank you Jingling - the patch says "absorption rate approx 50micrograms of estradiol in 24 hours".
I will try two pumps - I just didn't want to end up on a smaller dose than I am currently on with the patches. Thanks for your reply
