51 and feeling nauseated every morning

I have done for a year or more but I try not to dwell on it. Like I thought I'd make it real by googling it and accepting it. But here i am again, Sunday morning, feeling sick, like if I take a sip of coffee I'll make it worse.

It gets better as the day goes on and disappears completely.

It is just like pregnancy, but obviously I'm 51 and single but it feels the same Confused

Anybody else get this?

Maybe it's nothing to do with my age at all.

You can get medication to stop the nauseous feeling

I’ve recently had headaches with it and vertigo making me feel sick

Yeh I have a headache right now but not a bad one. Just ''there''.
I'm not on hrt or anything. Just progesterone back to back pill to stop periods as they were so heavy.

What's the medication called? Do you take it?
I'm going to try and make an appt at the women's clinic to see if there's anything I should be doing.

I read about other women (On here) taking HRT and I haven't a clue. HOw do they even know they need it.

And @ivykaty44 so it is a menopause thing?

why not try stopping the mini pill and see if that helps?
You may not even have periods any more at 51. You won't know unless you stop.

I'd be scared to stop taking it because it was less than a year ago that I had flooding. It was terrifying! If I forgot a pill, I'll feel a bit crampy the next day. I may test that at Christmas though when I have a few weeks off. I have that tramexemic acid (?) to stop flooding but that's not a great solution either.

I think you'd find now that at 51 they might offer you the Mirena instead of the POP to control bleeding, and it could also be the progestogen part of hrt if you needed it.

Oh interesting I’ve started getting this I thought one glass wine night was just not agreeing with me. Almost like headache sickness mild hangover feeling. Why are women’s bodies such pain in the ass!
