Anyone else with swollen feet and ankles?

Just wondering if this is yet another inconvenience that I may have to put up with for the foreseeable future.

Age 51, probably in peri, still regular with periods etc. I bought some leg cream for swelling and Venavein tablets as starting with spider veins on my one foot.

I know we all get some swelling but this just started out of the blue and made my legs quite achy. Not overweight, my excerise routine had been a bit lacking though.

I don't want cankles.... Blush

You should see your GP.

Not everyone gets swelling so not sure why you think it's normal? It's most definitely not.

Please see your GP as swelling can be linked to kidney function or heart issues.

Ooh. Getting a bit concerned now. I do get quite swollen feet if I have been on my feet all day, worn shoes that aren't all that comfy etc etc. This is what I mean by the usual type of swelling.

This and the spider veins are a new thing, which I may have just assumed goes with being in my 50s now.

I will get it checked.

Thanks for your quick response.

You need it checking out.

It's not normal to get that. Sounds like a circulation issue or kidneys.
