2wks into Evorel Sequi - should I be having a period?

I've just started my first box of Evorel Sequi (50) patches
1st 2 weeks have used the 50 patches about to start the conti ones.
I've had some headaches / insomnia / anxiety still but not too bad.

But I've got what looks like a period today when I'm supposed to start the conti patches. Do I just carry on and start them? Is this right?

No GP's around at weekend but I've had a horrible night of flooding and bad cramping & pain even with meds. Can't move with it. Ooof.

You could take Ibuprofen (as directions) which will help slow the bleeding.

How long is it since your last period? If it's not yet a full year, then this is probably a natural and heavy period.

HRT won't stop that especially if you are only 2 weeks into using it.

Yes you need to start the other patches.

Hope you feel better.

Hi @JinglingHellsBells
thank you for replying. I feel such a wuss but it's a corker of a bleed(tmi sorry) & much more painful than usual.
I've had 7 periods over the last 12m before starting the patches 2 weeks ago which was 10 days / 2 weeks into my (not v regular 'usual' cycle)

I'd normally take Co codamol for pain but if Ibuprofen might slow the bleeding too then I could take some of that as I have some in (not able to go out in current state, standing up is hard, not like me!)

I have bunged on the next patch. Thanks for advice & good wishes. x
