Oestrogel 4 pumps on 4 different parts of body?

I've been told by the nurse at my GP practice that I can increase the amount of pumps from 2 to 3 and that I should apply them to right shoulder/left shoulder/ inner thigh i.e 3 different sites.
BUT the leaflet inside the box says 'If 4 measures of gel have been prescribed, spread 2 measures over each outer arm or inner thigh.'
I'm inclined to follow the box instructions but does anyone do as the nurse has suggested?
Thanks

Hi there. They need to be applied to fleshy areas - hence outside of upper arms and inside of the thighs.

Follow the manufacturers instructions. And if it helps the private meno specialist all seem to say the same.

I put a pump on each wrist to elbow in the morning and pump on knees to thighs in the evening

Then jumped about like a mad thing whilst they dried

I'm on 4 pumps and spread them out but only so they dry more quickly. I do 2 on inner thighs and 2 on outer arms. Though I've just started experimenting with 2 pumps in morning and 2 in evening as my symptoms seem to be creeping back in.
