Well I've finally convinced my doctor to give me a prescription.
She said to start on day 1 of my cycle. So waiting for that now. Will be another 3 weeks.

Anyone else at the start of trying HRT & want to compare notes?

But my understanding is that to take progesterone continually, you need to have stopped having periods no?

I don’t know, but was still having (irregular) periods when I was taking the Elleste Duet. I came off it and on to Oestrogel and Mirena because I was bleeding so heavily.

Elleste Duet is a sequential type that is for women in peri.

It is 14 days of estrogen only then the rest of the pack has tablets that are half estrogen and half progesterone.

But I was still bleeding, if irregularly

Each film-coated tablet contains 2 mg estradiol (as estradiol hemihydrate) and 1 mg norethisterone acetate.
