Bleeding

Is it common to have sporadic bleeding after the menopause? I had a bleed over a year ago & a polyp was discovered. I had it removed.
I'm having a little bleed now. Called my gp and I've been referred for a scan. I'm worried.
I have been under huge stress lately. Could it be this??

This happened to me and I was given all the tests and a biopsy!

Nothing came of it but my mum died of ovarian cancer so I guess it was a precaution

Scared me how serious it was taken but was so glad they were so thorough

I have the fast 2 week referral for an appointment which of course has worried me. Hopefully it's nothing to be concerned about 🙏

I had post-menopause bleeding and was put on the 2 week pathway although due to covid it was more like 5 weeks. However, after a scan I was given the all clear, nothing abnormal was found, and the doctor said it was probably a "last gasp" from my ovaries.

Ok so I shouldn't worry. Thanks ladies xx

The good news is it's no more likely to be cancer now than the first time it happened - some studies have even shown a reduced risk.

Hi everyone, this was a weird question about peri menopausal periods. I’m currently on my 10th day of a period. It seems to stop for about 12 hours then it’s back with a vengeance. Heavy and painful. I’m currently on Evorex and this month I had to put on a spare patch of the 50 ones, when one fell off and I’m wondering if this has mucked up my system. Anyone got some advice?
