47, perimenopause, toothpaste taste won't fade all day

Has anyone else had this? I don't know if it's related to perimenopause (but everything seems to be these days) but I brush my teeth once in the morning and once at night but I can constantly taste toothpaste. It never fades. I use Sensodyne toothpaste, which has always seemed mild in the past, but I've tried other brands and I still cannot get rid of the taste. This has been going on for a couple of months. I feel like a nut, asking about this, but it's driving me mad. Any thoughts?

Is it like a cold sensation on your lips/tongue?

I’ve been having this, had no idea what it was

Have you tried Zendium toothpaste? When I was pregnant I couldn't bear the mint flavour of regular toothpaste and zendium was the only one I could use.

Not had your exact issue but I went through a phase of things tasting or smelling strange before my period. This included my usual Aquafresh tasting floral 🌻🌼🌷 Milk smelt awful 😩 but to everyone else, they tasted normal. This was before Covid came along
