Everol patches - do I start TODAY?

Hi, My GP has just prescribed me Everol patches.
I am 53, periods still regular (ish) - haveonly had 8 over last 12 months.
Last 4 days, usually 32 days apart now but missed a few.
Last v light and ended on Aug 26th.
Do I start today, or wait until next period (could be 32 days or 3m?)

What kind of evorel have you been prescribed? Sequi, conti, or oestrogen only? If it's sequi which I'm guessing it is because you still have periods then you start them within the first 5 days of your period.

Sorry posted too soon if your periods are irregular then you can start them at any time.

Says Evorel Sequi on box.
Contains 4 Evorel 50 patches, and 4 Evorel Conti patches.
(GP said 3 boxes enough for 3 months, is this correct?)

I have periods but not so regular now (only 8 over last 12 months and timings beginning to squiff around too)
Instructions do say start within 5 days of last period starting but sometimes its hard to tell when I've had a proper 'period' ie last one barely needing a tampon, just a bit of wiping after loo (sorry, TMI!)

I would just start them now you could be waiting months otherwise , you should have 2 patches per week so yes three boxes is 3 months supply.
