I've been on anti ds for many years now with not great effects tbh after trying nearly every one .
My sleep is horrendously bad and my joints and muscles ache terribly .
A few months ago I started on HRT patches due to the lack of sleep and hot sweats in bed . I
For a few years I have also suffered awful aches in my lower legs at night it feels like toothache . The doc says it's RLS .
After being on the patches for a couple of months my aching seemed to be worse so she told me to stop the HRT . I asked to try something else and she said no they are all the same .
I feel really fobbed off and am thinking of seeing another GP as daily I am exhausted and feel so low and unmotivated.
Any advice or has anyone experienced the same issue please

Aches in your lower legs doesn't sound like restless leg syndrome.

It sounds more like cramp which can sometimes be helped by magnesium supplements.

But really, your GP should refer you to a specialist to have the aches etc diagnosed in case it is anything serious.

Taking you off HRT doesn't make sense, and no, not all HRT is the same!

I agree I don't think it's RLS either but I've had tests for circulation and bloods loads of times .
I've not tried magnesium tbh I will try that also ... I feel the doc just fobbed me off on the HRT front as lots of them do 😩

Yes to magnesium supplements but also consider flotation sessions (where available) or bathing in Epsom salts.
