In about 3 weeks' time, it will have been 365 days since my last period and I will be officially menopaused. Is it odd to be looking forward to reaching this milestone? I nearly made it a few years ago but got a period after 310ish days (I started using Clue to track once my periods went haywire).
It will be a relief to be through the perimenopausal stage, it's lasted for years. Quite want to celebrate!

Not weird, definitely worth celebrating. You are reaching a new life stage Flowers

My periods were horrendous and I was happy for them to stop. For me, menopause is much better.

Exactly! I fee lkke they've served their purpose, there's no need for them now. Time to move on. It worries me slightly that I am comparatively young to be at this point, and whether that has implications for future health. On the whole though, worth celebrating!
