Everel Conti patch HRT

Hi started this patch 12 days ago. Background: 54 years old last period 9 months ago. Yesterday start period which continues today with clots and cramps. I see this can be normal in the initial six month phase. So not worried. But yuck was hoping for no periods and it feels too weird after so long without one. On the flip side no flushing and better sleep, I would be interested in hearing ppl's experiences of HRT and specifically combined continuous patch. Anyone go on HRT as a direct result of watching Davina?

Hi, I started on femseven conti patches about 5 weeks ago and so far they have made no difference at all :-(
I’m 53, last period just over 2 years ago.
Feeling very deflated as I had high hopes - on the plus side I’ve had no negative side effects either….
I hope the bleeding settles down for you, it’s great that you’re getting more sleep at least, I crave sleep 😴
Good luck and I’m sure someone more knowledgeable will be along to advise xx

I've been on everol conti for about 3 weeks first 10 days were great was a new woman but last week feel really low nauseated and dizzy and occasional tingling limbs... Does this last forever or do you think as my body gets used to it it will go?? I'm 53

I was on Evorel Sequi for around 3 years. All good until around 6 months ago when I got a bit of spotting so after scans and ultrasounds and due to my age (54) I was moved onto EvorelConti. I too hoped for the end of bleeding but I have had 2 monthly bleeds and some watery pink discharge. I too am hoping this is all just the settling down period but I am over the whole period thing and just want it over. Other symptoms are well managed by the Evorel

I moved from Femoston sequi to conti and it took around six months for my periods to disappear. Just been moved over to evorel sequi (let my femoston script lapse as workload the past 18 months has made me completely disorganised - if I’m ok after the next 6 months he’ll move me to conti. He did say that it can take 6-9 months for things to settle down.
