Mirena or utrogestan tablets?

I started on HRT a few weeks ago with Oestrogel and Utrogestan tablets. I have an appointment to have a Mirena coil in early Sep but I'm not sure whether I should switch or not.

I've been fine with the current Utrogestan tablets - currently on the 14day schedule, not the daily schedule. But no contraception. I'm 52 so highly unlikely but it does worry me with all the hormones.

Any advice? Has anyone made the switch? Or found that one form of progesterone is better than another?
