Menopause Libido

What’s going on? I thought Libido diminished during Menopause. I think I’m nearly through it ( two periods in the last eighteen months). I’ve experienced the lack of sleep, night sweats, muscle twitching, anxiety etc but DH and I are at it like rabbits at the moment. I didn’t expect that! We’re definitely more relaxed after parental bereavement and stressful house/ job moves.
Is this a thing?

Should say I’m not knocking it Grin

It's not at all uncommon. Once the menopause is reached you somehow relax. Peri-menopause is a time when many women conceive a baby and a lot are concerned about that possibility, even with contraception, but once that is over, it's great. I experienced increased libido at that time.

Enjoy it, it's great.

Can I just say that I’m deeply, deeply envious? Like the brightest shade of green. My libido has gone, the only consolation is that the bloke’s went with it. I expect they’re having a lovely time together.

We are both expecting it to disappear at a moment’s notice but I’m enjoying it while I can.

It might not. You might be one of the extremely lucky minority and end up with your husband begging for mercy!

Ha ha !
