Can I ask? If HRT were to work, would it work regardless of what’s happening in your life? My MIL died suddenly and I had to defib her and do CPR, her passing was a real shock so I understandably feel rubbish 😞 I’m so desperate for it to work but not sure if HRT can compete with how pants life is at the mo…

No, HRT probably won’t help with the grief and trauma you are feeling right now. The circumstances of your MIL passing were awful for you, you need time to process your feelings, perhaps consider some counselling for the trauma.

The HRT may help with your mood, may prevent it from getting as low as if you weren’t on it, but I’m no expert. I think you just have to go with your grief and access support if you need it. The Samaritans are wonderful, you can just call them and cry, rant, talk.
