HRT advice please

Hi all, I recently started HRT (Oestrogel & Utrogestan) but yet to start the progesterone part as on sequi regime. I was advised to start HRT anytime as I had no clue about my cycle as periods so erratic. I am due to start Utrogestan on Monday but my period started a couple of days ago. Do I just carry on regardless? Would I use less Utrogestan? Very confused and would appreciate any advice. Thanks x

I was advised to take utrogeston at a certain time in my cycle, not sure scientifically why! However I’ve been on HRT for 4 months now and the utrogeston hasn’t ‘taken over’ my cycle like I thought it would. Basically my normal cycle is still the same, I don’t bleed at the end of the utrogeston like I was advised I might, this means sometimes I’m
on my period when I take it…my meno lady has said that as long as I bleed once a month she’s not concerned when it is. It does not affect me taking the 200mg daily orally

I read this as ‘HR advice’ and was about to go full on about how badly some employers treat female employees who are having a difficult menopause 🤣🤣🤣
