Hi I’ve been prescribed Evorel patches (still on order so don’t know full name) after phone call with GP. My symptoms are feeling overwhelmed and anxious all the time and not sleeping ,, no hot flushes yet! Am hoping the HRT stops Me feeling like walking out on job and family! Am 49 and still have regular periods. I’ve read up side effects/ reviews and it mentions weight gain which I really don’t need. Also says synthetic progesterone.. is this something to be concerned about? I made a fuss about the patches being vegan as I am and doctor sounded very weary of me so I’m reluctant to go back.. wondering if a menopause nurse/clinic might give me more time to talk through everything. Or do they cost a lot? Thanks for any advice.
