I saw the nurse practitioner for the second time today. I previously saw her 2 months ago with peri-menopausal symptoms, mainly memory loss, brain fog (feel like I’m getting dementia and I’m worried it’s affecting my work) plus anxiety, feeling a lack of joy/enthusiasm about life. She tried to give me anti-depressants but I refused as I’m not depressed and ended up with propanolol as she said it would help with all my symptoms(!) (it hasn’t!) I wanted hrt but was refused as still have fairly regular periods and wasn’t having hot flushes.
Went back today for a follow up and explained I still have the same symptoms. My memory is getting worse if anything and have come away with the pill.
Has anyone had relief of menopause symptoms with the pill?
