Chloasma on face?

During pregnancy I got dark patches on my face like a tan but also freckle - I believe it was chloasma
It faded over the years since but now I'm taking hrt for 3 months it has reappeared
Please - is this something to worry about? I didn't care in pregnancy and honestly visually I don't care now as actually it gives me more of a tan (vain I know but...)
What I need to know is is it a problem for me and an indication of something weird going f on / because of the hormones
If it's just fine and a side effect but harmless then I really don't care but I want to know if it's malicious
Thank you

Yes, it is oestrogen that causes melasma I believe. It is made worse by the sun, wearing sunblock will reduce the appearance. I had it all through my pregnancies and while breastfeeding!
