Gone Wonky

Hi,
I'm new to this forum so hello to all you fellow sufferers. I'd really like some reassurance if possible because I have health anxiety and I'm going a bit crazy with worry.
Right, here we go. I'm nearly 54, I'm about two years post menopause (or three years, I forget). I've never had any HRT because A. I'm too scared, and B. My symptoms have been manageable so far; poor memory, regular hot flashes day and night and various aches and pains plus various other bits and bobs.
About a month ago I started to notice a sticky clear discharge and what I can only describe as a mild ovulation discomfort like the old days, also my nipples became tender. A few weeks later my breasts became heavy and tender/painful - again - just like the old days and a week ago my 24/7 hot flushes stopped. Completely. I have every physical symptom of getting ready for a period. Is this likely after having no periods for perhaps three years? I'm freaking out a bit because I cannot find anything on Dr Google (I know, bad idea) relating to this. Currently I'm blaming everything from my recent second Astrazeneca jab in June to various types of cancer.

Thank you, and I'm sorry this is so long x

I'd stop worrying. You might have had a surge of estrogen but no ovulation perhaps as you've not yet had another period.

It's not unknown, but if you do bleed after all this time, do see your GP.
