I'm 49 years old and always had regular periods. This year, I had 1 in February, very light, hardly anything and lasted about 3 days.
Had another one in April, again very light.
The last 3 days I have had the most horrendous sore breasts, to the point I brushed my arm across 1 today and nearly cried 🙄 horrible dull aching pain in my lower side of my stomach/pelvic area and raging like a stroppy teenager not getting their own way!

I've been contemplating seeing my doctor, but don't know whether to as not very clued up on this and not sure if there's anything can be done in any event.
Any mumsnetter have any idea (I know it's not easy to say on info given above and only doctor can say for definite, but asking for experiences really) on whether this is peri-menopause or just a blip type of thing? X

Forgot to add that I also have really bad brain fog, forgetting the most ridiculous things and really struggling to remember important things. Plus, my sex drive is non-existent lately
Thank you!
