Coping with breast pain on HRT: any recommendations?

I've been taking HRT for 6 weeks (Oestrogel & Utrogestan plus vaginal oestrogen twice a week to help with atrophy). It's doing wonders for my mood, anxiety, sleep etc. However, I have had really sore & swollen breasts for the last 3 weeks and I am desperate for some relief! I have always suffered from breast tenderness during the last week of my cycle & I just learned to get on with it - wear a more supportive bra etc and once my period started the pain would disappear. Now the breast pain is constant. I'm sure it will settle with time but I would love to hear of anything that has helped you if you have had the same experience.

I was recommended Evening Primrose Oil by my gynaecologist and it worked for me.

Thank you @Willowkins I’ve just ordered some on your recommendation. I’m trying the liquid version which you can take alone or add to smoothies or salad dressing! I already take thyroxine every day & hate taking tablets so hopefully the liquid version will be as effective as the capsules.

Ha. I also take Thyroxine. Totally get about wanting to limit tablets. Hope it helps.
