Oestrogen level off the scale

Hi
I've recently had a blood test to check oestrogen and testosterone levels. The results are off the scale. My oestrogen level is 64,475 (122 - 1094 normal range) and testosterone >52.
I'm waiting for my Dr to call, but I'm v worried. I use 2 pumps of gel, pea size blob of test gel and utrogestan. Nothing out of the ordinary. I'm hoping the blood test is wrong. Has anyone had this?

Why did you have a test anyway? Is this NHS or a private dr?

Was the blood test taken where you run the gel in?

I took the test to check testosterone level as I was trialling Androfemme. It's a private Dr and I used medichecks it was a testosterone oestrogen combo test. I did it via fingerprick method. The Dr said it may have been contaminated with residue gel on my hands. I'm going to repeat it via a venous test to ensure it's taken properly. Hopefully just a false alarm.

I personally don't think it's a good idea to use a finger prick test for something like that. Your dr ought to be doing the test, professionally.

Also, I was told it's pointless taking blood for estrogen as the result can vary day to day and even hour to hour depending on when it was applied.
