I take Utrogeston every day (still have periods). The dr said to stop on day 25. (this is my first month taking HRT!).

My period looks like its going to arrive before day 25 - what do I do? Stop then? And if so, when do I restart? (If I get to day 25, then when do I restart?).

Thanks!

If you still have periods, is there some other reason why you have been told to use HRT as continuous & combined?

The usual regime for women with periods is to use the two hormones in a cycle, to follow your own natural cycle as far as possible.

So that would be estrogen every day and Utrogestan 12 days per month (usually from the middle of your own cycle so it coincides with your own rise in progesterone then.)

Why has your GP put you on what is a 'no bleed' regime for women post menopause?

I don't know @JinglingHellsBells - I went to the doctor you recommended (under a previous user name!). I assume he knows his stuff. I hopefully have an appointment next week.
