Occasional rage but no anxiety

I feel like I can't be arsed to be anxious anymore after a life time of always worrying.

But I do get intense rage flashes, especially when not enough sleep and dh is being highly irritating.

I'm 44 and have a toddler and 8 yr old so it's been tough over the last year. Definitely some hormonal stuff that I've mostly got on top of (slightly affected by trying to get the right dose of thyroxine after my youngest.) joint aches and pains at times, extreme exhaustion at certain times of my cycle.

Can this be a peri symptom without the anxiety?

Yep.
There are many symptoms, you don’t have to have them all to be peri.

Ok thanks. I have regular periods though . Would progesterone or both be helpful?

Definitely more ragey mid cycle too.

I’m not on HRT so can’t help there, but maybe you need to try and sort some things out in your life such as your sleep and husband.
HRT won’t help him unfortunately !

Yeah, a lot of the sleep stuff is unavoidable. Eg poorly children. Waking feeling overly hot. (Have a fan.) early morning aching. I do what I can.

My reaction to some of dh's stuff is definitely unreasonable. (Others entirely reasonable!)

No anxiety ... yet. It will come.
