Rage through the roof on conti

I'm 45, through menopause at 43.

Since Oct 2020 I've been on Conti patches. My main symptoms were facial hot flushes and very ragey at everything. I've also got VA, am on vagifem and ovestin.

I found the patches helped immensely and calmed me down after a few short weeks. Everything seemed fine. Now for the last 5 weeks or so my anger and rage is through the roof. I feel like I am having some sort of break down, it is that bad. 3 weeks ago my Gp phoned me after I had ordered my usual prescription for the patches and VA treatment. He decided that as I had been on Hrt for more than six months that I should be 'better' and I shouldn't need anymore treatment. In short, I read him the riot act.

I need advice from someone in the know as you can tell my Gp is useless. Why am I getting worse on Hrt? Is it the type or dosage. I feel they worked at the start but now I may as well just put a sticky plaster on for all the good they are doing. Any advice appreciated.
