Periods- how long is 2 long?

I've been spotting, then a light period getting heavier, possibly easing up a tad now.

I keep saying 'give it another day'

It could be because I've had my HRT increased
It could be it's the first period since Covid jab number 2
It could be because I'm 52
It could be all manner of things according to Dr Google.

I'm just wondering what the cut off date should be when I contact GP? Not that is an easy job!
2 weeks of bleeding?
One monthly cycle?
I feel ok.

I'm not sure what to tell you but you do have my sympathies.

I finally finished bleeding yesterday, it began on 1st June, so lasted three weeks. It included about one week of very heavy hard-to-manage bleeding with several clots the size of a 2 pence piece per day.

I was considering contacting a GP but didn't quite do it, I stuck it out and it finally lessened and stopped. Like you I felt fairly well, but was a bit tired after work. I am 53 so am assuming it's perimenopause irregularity?

I would be very interested in what your GP says if you do consult him/her. Meanwhile make sure you are keeping up your iron levels somehow. I found an out of date multivitamins in the cupboard which contained iron so had those, and extra Weetabix !
