Hrt Q - delaying inevitable ?

Hi everyone , I am considering hrt , and am reading lots of info in risks vs benefits .
But the one question I keep coming back to is am I not just delaying the inevitable for a time . Like will I eventually end up going through or this crap in a few years if I stop the hrt ( whether through necessity or dr advise )
The I do says the benefits won’t continue but will all the menopausal symptoms return . I’m just not clear on that .
It’s all so confusing and I’m hoping some of women here who are more knowledgeable can help me out here
Thanks

There are answers to this Q on the website of Dr Louise Newson.

Basically, the answer is No.

HRT doesnt delay meno symptoms. It treats them as long as you use it.

If symptoms come back if you stop using it, you'd have had those symptoms anyway and will have them possibly for years after stopping hrt.

Also, you do't have to stop hrt- you can use it forever if you want.
