HRT and endometriosis

Hi all
I think I'm in very early perimenopause. I'm 43. Symptoms include

  • cycles reduced by 5 days (on average)
  • anxiety, fatigue and headaches in run up to periods. I never had any PMT or anything like this before
  • migraines (new)
  • heavier and lighter flows
  • trouble sleeping
  • heavy spotting 5-1 days before period

And probably some more I've forgotten.

I think I might benefit from progesterone supplementation but not estrogen. My endometriosis symptoms are getting worse around ovulation and adding in more estrogen is going to be unhelpful.

What do you all think? Would progesterone alone fix my current symptoms?

Later on when my estrogen drops loads, is there any treatment for people with endo?

I think you need to discuss this with a gynae/ menopause specialist.
it's complicated :)

Many women don't get on well with the progesterone part of HRT and it's only used to stop the womb lining growing too much. Otherwise it would be estrogen only.
