According to the chemist there are no Estradot patches of any strength available to order - bloody ridiculous!
They’re trying to get me the Everol instead

The Estradot 75s are definitely out of stock again 🙄

I managed to get some 50s and 25s last week to use together as I prefer not to switch brands but they can dispense any equivalent against an estradot prescription atm.

I hate having to switch brands as it often triggers a migraine for me.

I was able to get the Evorel 75mg today so at least that’s something

I got Estradot yesterday. Chemist had to order them in, but was able to and said nothing about shortages. I'm in the SE of England.

I've got some boxes of Estraderm 50 going spare (exp end of Oct 2021) if anyone wants them for free. I can post.

That's kind of you SpindleWhorl Smile

I remember the Great Patch Shortage of 2019-20! I actually had to buy boxes privately, so I'm happy to donate the spares that have an expiry date this year.

My chemist automatically switched the brand - no discussion! I was down to my last patch so I just accepted the brand change without question ;-(

I'm currently using Evorel 50 and have noticed that the Evorel is less effective than the previous brand that I was using. I've been wearing 2x 50 patches. I've got an appointment with my GP to discuss increasing my dose because I thought that was the issue.

Now I'm thinking it could be the brand change.

omg there was a shortage!! Yikes, I'm a bit last minute.com with reordering my patches & stress myself out unnecessarily. I need to do better. How long did it take you to source via a private Dr?
SpindleWhorl · 12/06/2021 16:43

It took about 10 days, @NurseButtercup, but that particular online private pharmacy doesn't seem to sell patches any more.

They do ask for a GP name/address, and a few medical details.

Anyway, like I said, happy to give my spare boxes away of Estraderm 50.

I was finally prescribed Evorel Sequi nearly 3 weeks ago but so far have been unable to find a local pharmacy who has them.

Contacted the supplier who advised another shipment had been dispatched last week.

Are there any similar alternatives..?

Women really shouldn't have to spend hours running round shops doing this. We're not in wartime with supply shortages!
