HRT Menopause Dr

Hi , I’ve got an appointment to see a menopause Dr tomorrow , can anyone tell me some questions that I should be asking please ?

I asked things like what the risks were for each type and what the benefits were.

For me the Mirena Coil and oestrogen patches worked very well.

The Dr will lead the conversation.

What is it you want to know? You should try to think of the type of questions that perhaps are posted here and whether they ring a bell with you.

Ask about periods. I didn't ask and it was bit of a shock when hrt caused a heavy three month long period.

You bled for 3 months? Assume this was a continuous type and not sequential (monthly bleed.)
