Am 47. I've been on HRT for 3 years after early menopause at 42. I have oestrogel, testosterone and a mirena coil. I also have ridiculously painful boobs. The right one especially. I had it all checked out last summer, mammogram and ultrasound, but all fine.

Still bloody hurts though, sometimes stabbing as if someone has shoved a skewer in next to my nipple. I do have should joint issue on the same side, so my physio things it's transferred pain.

Anyway, someone has suggested evening primrose and starflower oil. Has anyone had a go with it? Does it work?

EPO is supposed to work . Star flower oil AKA borage, not so sure.
It's really a case of trying and seeing if it helps.

EPO is advised as a treatment for breast pain.
It's not been shown to have any effect on menopausal symptoms.
Royal College of Gynaecologists did have an online leaflet on alternative treatments and it might be worth looking for it as it covered all these herbal treatments.

Weirdly I took 2 yesterday, then last night I noticed that my boob wasn't hurting. First time in months.

Even if it's psycho-wotsit, I'm going to take the max for a month or so to see what happens.
