Hi , I’m about to start HRT & after reading up have been told it can cause incontinence is this a fact ?

sounds a bit scaremongery to me.

Since being started on vagifem and subsequently "upgrading" to Oestrogel I can certainly say there are not nearly so many bathroom visits. So quite the opposite to your worries.

Never heard of this.

HRT and internal oestrogen creams like Ovestin help with bladder irritation and can actually reduce the amount of UTIs someone gets (from my own experience) as we have oestrogen receptors in our bladder - so if anything I would think the opposite would be true.
