Can you have too much oestrogen ?

I am on HRT and vaginal esotrgen - Vagifem and Estriol. For last 10 days I have had horrible constant urge to urinate and lower abdominal pain - I had this a tiny bit before I started Vagifem but nothing like it is currently.

Have had 6 day course of Macro Bid - Nitro thingy which has helped a little but not much and have sent a message to doctor.

I am wondering whether I should increase the Vagifem but have been taking more of it lately anyway - or whether I am having to much oestrogen and that is causing the issue.

Its all so complicated to know what to do. Any thought much appreciated.

Are you saying you had 6 days of antibiotics in case it was an infection? Or was it something over the counter you used?

How much Vagifem do you use and what dose of estrogen? (is it a patch, pill, gel?)

Both Vagifem and Ovestin can cause some irritation in some people when first used as they 'wake things up' a bit but it usually settles down.

Can't think of what to suggest unless you say exactly how much you use of what and if you suspect an infection, perhaps?
