Does Utrogestan make you sleepy in the day?

I'm on 100mg daily. I take it at night and it's been superb for my insomnia. But I wonder if I feel more tired in the day.

Anyone else?

I've had severe insomnia for decades. I've even had 'therapy' at an NHS specialist sleep clinic so that may give an indication of how bad it was.

In January 2021, I started the HRT combination of estrogen gel and Utrogestan (was previously on a combined tablet Femoston Conti).

Since January I can count on one hand how many nights I've had broken sleep which is a revelation. The downside is I'm tired all of the time, regularly fall asleep during the day and I sleep far too long and often struggle to wake up.

I have an appointment with my menopause specialist nurse soon and this issue is on my list.

I don't know what's worse - not enough sleep or too much?
